Anniversary Dinner

It's our anniversary....

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary last month. We were supposed to be baskin' under the heat of sunny Mexico, that was the original plan. But, as I mentioned on my previous post, due to unexpected circumstances, we had to cancel the trip. 

Stuck in the cold, rainy Shanghai we just decided to have a simple dinner date on a newly opened fancy Italian restaurant along The Bund in the riverside area.

I wore this lovely pleated pop brocade dress I got from Zara last December. Simple and very classic. Paired it with a polka dot black stocking, gold & black sequined clutch, and my new Stella Luna leopard print platforms that I got as gift from my husband last Christmas. Apologies for the pictures as I only took my iPhone that night.

We started the night at the newly renovated Velvet Lounge for aperitif. It was a Sunday so the bar was empty. I kind'a like it like this...quiet, more relaxed, Cuban ambiance.

So here we go to the dining place at Bocca along The Bund...quite fancy

Located on the 5th floor of the revamped historical South Bund 22 building, Bocca is a lovely spot carries an elite swagger on a pretty tranquil corner of the Bund with classy white décor, plush seating and dim lights. It has a magnificent view of the Huangpu River and the lights of Pudong.

Their Christmas meal consists of a 6-course, panettone based, sumptuous meal so brace yourself :)

The over-all dining experience was awesome: the dishes, specially the starters, are very delectable, the place has a delightful ambiance.
